They would rather sue you then to accept your money

The company never notified me of my son's medical bills they we're dealing with my ex-wife then all of a sudden I got served at work no letters informing me 1st they had an old address but knew where I worked. They sued me for 153.00. I called them up & stated I owed another 720.00 dr's i never even heard of. They agreed to accept 120.00 mo. After the lawsuit was paid they stopped cashing my checks after 3 months of not cashing checks a total of 360.00 they served me again for the other 720.00 then they cash my checks??? My balance right now if there was no attorney fees & court costs is less then 40.00. Why would they sue me if I am paying. I tried calling after the 2nd law suit & they won't return my calls.

All I tried to do was the right thing & pay for my son's medical bills now I probably have all this negative info on my credit report. What's an honest consumer to do?
