Cheated and compromised our identity

I've applied a mortgage loan over five months ago. They have been charging me for this and that in more than three occassions as well as asking me personal information back and forth for the same things. I've always to call and never one time called me to update me on my status.

Two months ago after my repeated calls failed to get hold of my 'representative', had to call and insist I talk to someone and handed me a different agent.
The agent did tell me the person working in my case is not around and he will take my case and will do much better. He stated that he could not find any folder of my informations and asked me to submit it all over again. I was not happy but I had to do as requested. He then did tell me it'll take only 48 hrs after all informations are gathered and time passed over three weeks with no sign of respond.

I called him and insist of the problem and tells me the NFSLOANS.com has taken over my case and my contact person will contact me soon but never heard a word since.
I believe there is something I am worried of my personal identity including my wife have been compromised.
I would like to know the status of these institution if they ever exist.
