National City
Insurance Ripp-off

Business & Finance

In Sept/08 National City suspended my home equity line of credit because of falling home values. This was not a problem, I paid off my balance in full and that was that.in Jan/09 I received a bill for $3584 for flood insurance that they bought for me on a suspended zero balance loan. I immediately called and explained that I thought my loan was cancelled and faxed them a copy of the flood insurance that I obviously had to have for my first mortgage (it was $291 no wonder they went under). Most recently I received a past due notice for the entire amount, so I call and fax and e-mail still with no results.
