Ripoff required us to get flood insurance even though we were not in a flood zone

Ameriquest required us to get flood insurance even though we were not in a flood zone. We were shopping around to find he best price for the insurance and they called and said they had their own insurance and we would have to pay them. Their insurance cost us $1000.00 a year.

We later got our own insurance and it cost us $300.00 a year. We told them we would pay our own insurance and they still made us pay for theirs. We also are looking for a new loan and they want us to pay $60.00 to get a payoff balance.

I do not feel I should have to pay to get my payoff balance. They also will show you your balance on your statement but when you pay for your payoff balance they will have all kinds of bogus fees and charges so your payoff balance will be more. If anyone has a suit against these people I would like to get in on one too.
