Aflac
Debit balance owed them of $1,465.77

Business & Finance

I was an independent Aflac agent from June to December. I quit because I found it nearly impossible to sell policies. There were countless number of agents in my area (Beaverton Oregon) and the same businesses would be called over and over again.

I did make a few sales and transferred all companies and individuals to my manager and also left her all the companies which were possibly sales. I did not ask for anything more from the company. I just gave it all to my manager.

Today, April (1 1/2 years after quitting the company) I received a letter from Andrew T. Robinson stating, "This is a notification regarding your debit balance owed to Aflac in the amount of $1,465.77. The balance is due to chargeback's, personal insurance deductions, or license fees etc." I am suppose to pay them this huge amount of money within in 10 days.

First of all I do not have that kind of money and second, and even more important, I do not feel I owe them this money. When I left Aflac I had paid all my bills with them. If the accounts went belly up, it is my managers responsibility - not mine. There is no way that I feel that I owe Aflac one dime.

How do I get rid of this obvious Rip Off?

Thank you
