I asked for an extension because I got hurt and was unable to work right now

I have a car loan with citizens bank, I was never late and my credit is excellent. I called customer service numerous times and finnally got through. I explained that I got hurt and would not be able to make this months payment
they swithched me over to another department. The told me they could do a loan modification but because I'm not working there is nothing they can do. So now my truck is being repo'd. All i needed was a little time to get back on my feet!!!
