Ripoff rip-offs

I am a single mother who lost my job of 9 years to NAFTA. After I lost my job I had asked to get back my retirement so I could pay my bills.

I have always paid my bills on time and even in advance. So when I recieved my retirement I turned around and sent it in with my coupons to my mortgage at FIFTH THIRD BANK. Thinking I was paying my payment ahead so that I didn't have to worry for a little while after lossing my job. I only got ripped off. Fifth third applied all my money to the princple and nothing to payments. Which now makes me look like I haven't paid plus I'm being forclosed on.

They also messed up my annual mortgage statement by not appling anything to the interest leaving me with nothing to turn in on my taxes. As if that wern't bad enough they also applied a false 9,000.00 to the principle balance leaving me with a balance of only oweing almost 8,000.00 instead of the correct amont of 17,000.00.

I've tried to be honest and straighten this out by sending them my cancelled checks proving that I made my payments but they refuse to talk to me and take on no blame to their selves, but only insist on trying to forclose on my house.

I can only hope and pray for the turn out, but I know there is no hope. I sent them my retirement which is all I had so now I have no money to pay THEIR lawyers or to even try an get me one.

I just wished that something could be done so that other people don't have to go through what they are putting me through.
