Secret shopper job scam

These people sent me a cashiers check for $3952.23. I was to call them prior to cashing (Crystal Washington and Steve Jones). They want me to deposit into my bank account and call them to recieve further instructions. According to the letter that came with the check I am being hired as a secret shopper. I am suppose to money gram transfer them back $3300. And keep rest for payment. The check amount has been altered so check will not clear.
