Fidelity Direct Services
Eco Tech Investment Scam Letter in the mail

Business & Finance

I received a letter in the mail stating that I was one of the lucky winners of the publisher's Clearing house. A check was also included for $3,995.00 made out to me for Non-Resident Govt. Service Tax & Insurance.

I took a copy of the check and put everything back into the envelope and went to my local post office. They told me to contact the Postal Investigators Department and gave me a phone number to call.

I plan on calling them on Monday and will supply them with the letter, check and the original envelope that it came in so it can be traced using the postal bar codes stamped on the envelope since it came without a return address on the envelope.

I did not try to cash this check because I am a firm believer that if something sounds to good to be true it most likly is. I don't want this company to have anymore information on me then they already have.

I looked online to find the financial institution that the check came from and got more phone numbers in Indianapolis, Indiana which I will contact tomorrow to find out if the funds are good. I am going to tell them why I am asking for this information.

I am going to register this with the U.S. Postal investigators because this is the worst type of mail fraud and it is a federal effense. I will do everything in my power to stop this from happening to other people who may not be as doughtful of these kinds of things.

I must admit that I could use the money myself but I had my checking account stolen once before a long time ago and I am much more careful with my information. If you are reading this please be careful of these scams.
