Beware! Wachovia Bank Steal your money

Wachovia Bank is stealing your money from your account! They return my check that I just deposited drawn from my emergency fund at Metro Bank. Wachovia Bank choses not to process my personal check so that they can charged me a "Return Item Fee." The check was deposited on 3/4/09 for $320 to cover my bills and again I deposited additional check for $1,550 on 3/10/09 this checks was drawn in the same account in Metro Bank. When I checked my online statement, I was shocked after seeing a lot of negatives and charges of NSF fees. What Wachovia Bank did was, they did not process the check that was deposited on 3/4/09 but they collect or process the check that was deposited on 3/10/09. Let's break it down.

On 3/09/09 my current balance of my Waco Statement was $55.00. My upcoming totaled bills that is due on the 3/12/09 was $1,500, I deposit a check drawn from Metro Bank for the amount of $1,550 on 3/9/09 and was cleared on the 10th of March. When my bills due on the 3/12/09, the funds was not enough or insufficient because they returned my check of $320 that I deposited on 3/4/09. Explain below.

My balance was negative of $225.00 According to them they pay my bills a total amount of $225 therefore, I have to pay a NSF fee for two items. The items were GA Power bill for the amount of $145 and cable bill for the amount of $80 which I have to pay an NSF fee for $30 each item for a total of $60 $10 return fee.

I called them about the discrepancy and they told me to call Metro Bank which I did and not only I called them but I went to Metro Bank (MB) in person and asked them why they returned my check for $320. They investigate the returned check from Waco and check my account but MB don't have any record that the check of $320 was even presented to them otherwise it would show in MB statement and the return fee. And if it was presented the check to MB and MB returned it back to Waco for NSF, MB would of stamped the back of the check as well as the date when they received the check.

Bottom Line is that Waco will choose which check they want to collect the money or not to collect the money in order to charge their customers a bundle of fees.
