Reading the Fine Print Saved Us from a LOT of heartache!

My husband is disabled (kidney disease) and hasn't been able to work for over 2 years. The only company I have worked for in the past 6 years is non-union (Wal-Mart), so, I wondered, why would I be getting an offer from a company called Union Workers Credit Services?

Well, after reading the fine print, I got it! Nothing was "jiving", and although my husband and I were at first, eager to use this "offer" to help with the purchase of a piece of property, the fine print said, "... Not to be construed to function as any type of multipurpose credit card...", etc., etc.

The $10,000 offer would have solved a lot of issues for us, but, I could not understand why, with the financial problems we've had due to my husband's illness, we would just get an offer for so much and seemingly, without having to prove who we are!

Well, to make a long story short, I kept my $37 "annual fee" in my bank account, and won't be expecting to receive a "fully refundable" $37 with my first purchase, as there won't be a first purchase... And, I'm mailing the offer back to them in their own pre-paid envelope with a giant red SCAM written across the letter.

I'll be watching to see what happens to this bunch of abusers!!! And I look forward to seeing them in court in the near future!!!
