Ripoff artists make up fraudulent accounts to take your money

Received a letter stating that CAMCO had purchased an account of mine from some place called Fourscore Financial, which had the account from AVCO Financial. I immediately knew something was wrong. I have NEVER had an account with either place, never even hear of them.

Since I received the letter on saturday, I wasn't able to call the Greg Crawford listed there to "discuss" it. I did do some investigating on the internet, and came across this site. Good thing.

After reading every post, and also visting other sites, I have sent them a cease and desist letter and have mailed complaints to the NC Attorney General as well as the Illinois Attorney General. Have not been contacted by phone yet, but it is probably just a matter of time.

How do these scum get away with this? Billing people for accounts that they never had! I will never pay these bottom feeders a cent, and if Mr. Crawford or anyone else at CAMCO wants to "discuss" this, then all I have to say to them is "There ain't nothing between Illinois and NC but air, baby"!!
