Collection agency bad debt purchaser fruad junk debt buyers

I recevied a call from a company yestarday on both my home and cell phone. They first hung up. Then this morning at 1038 they called me on my cell phone and state that they we haster law firm, then proceeded to tell me that they have been place on retainer from kay jewlers to collect on a debt that was charged off. I informed the gentlyement that kay jewlers and i had a dispute and they (hast law firm) was not part of it that i was aware and i was not going to own up to the debt and if they wanted to speak with me they need to do so in writing. I also informed him that i have done some investigation on his "law firm" and found that there and many complaints from the bbb to you name it. He acknoleged the complaint and state that most collections agencies (oh now we are a collection agency) have them.

I firmly ended the call stating that if you want to provide me with proof of retainship from kay jewlers then it needs to be mailed.

Awaiting there repsonse with my bag of tricks and lawyer of my own.

Know your rights do not give them access to your banking info even a check - most times this can be resolved with frca limiations and or court appearance - take notes - log the calls - sent a letter of do not call - to them do not commit or engage.
