Fraudulent claims, can't do what they promised, will not refund my credit card. Would not respond to BBB complaint

I was contacted by this company to see if I qualified to get my credit card rates reduced to 14% or lower. I spoke with several people and was ask how much credit card debt I had, I gave an amount that included my husbands debt. I was told they could get these rates lowered and they could save me $2500.00 or I would get a refund.

The fee was charged to my credit card in the amount of $1500.00, they said they would sent me a packet and a free $500.00 gas card. I called one of my credit card companies to see if my rate clould be lowered and they said no. I called Resolutions Center and spoke with someone named Janae, she and I called Chase on 3-way call and they confirmed what I told her.

She said we need to sign you up for another program after I told her I wanted my money back after Chase call. I got a packet from them and sent it back certified mail well within the 30 day return policy. The first time it was sent back because it was rejected, I also got a packet from Health & Fitness with a card to register for gas, only after you spend so much do you get any credit toward gas.

I returned that too and ask that it not be sent again. I re-sent packet to Resolutions Center again and I called again telling them so, I also asked for my refund. I filled a complaint with BBB in Florida and they have dropped my complaint because they have had no response from them either. I can't afford an attorney so it looks like I'm out $1500.00 for nothing. This has been going on since Jan 3rd of this year and I have called and written several times with no response to either.
