Changing date of deliquency to keep info on credit report longer oklahoma city, ok 73135-1733

I just pulled up my credit report which i do frequently and noticed an old account from more than 5 years ago that the date of the start of the delinquency was changed from 04/04 to 03/09 which is very upsetting. I have been working on getting my credit up to par and keeping it there too long. The company seems to have complaints about it. Now my score is going to go down and this is going to stay on my report longer than 7 years i think not. It even says on one of my reports from 09/08 that this will come of 04/11. I think this company should be brought to court.
