Scam artist but youve found your match

I Also was a victim of the BMG scam. I have worked for years to repair my credit and once it got into the 700s, BMG put the bogus derogatory account, claiming I owe them $180, since 2003.in I was in Iraq and no one was at that address. I have never ordered anything from them. I called BMG, they said there was nothing they could do and to contact National Credit. National Credit stated no matter what BMG reported it and you have to pay it. There was no way I was going to stand by and let them attempt to ruin my credit. The only thing that work in my favor is the fact that I monitor my credit report every month, I logged on and check it almost weekly. If anything changes on my report I get an email from Experian informing me of such changes, so I knew the same day National Credit put it on my report. I know there are other credit reports, but they work similiar. If you run into the same situation, then do what i did.

I immediately filed a dispute with Experian regarding BMG. Experian investigated it and within 3 weeks it was totally removed from my report. If you are in this same situation, file a dispute through your credit report and they will deal with it. BMG is really running a scam trying to rip people off and pay for something they ordered.
