It's a scam

I have been conned! I followed a link which was offering work to be done at home. Having given my debit card details and authorising an amount of 1.41 to be debited from my account, the next stage was stating monthly payments would be debited for ongoing information to be posted out.

At this point, I realised it was a scam and exited the website, being thankful I had only committed to a small amount. Having checked my bank statement today, I find a further 34.23 plus 1.50 bank charge has been debited to my account. The bank has no power to stop further payments.

I would therefore warn anyone else to be very cautious and welcome advice from anyone who can tell me how to stop further amounts being deducted and better still, getting this scam eradicated
