Over three years ago my husband and I open an account with GE Capital Cons through Best Buy. During this time we used the card the first year, and after that we stopped using it because we wanted to pay them in full and decrease our liabilities.

However it doesn't seem that we can manage to accomplish this goal with GE Capital. We have always paid our bills promptly (at least 7 to 10 days before due date) but the credit is not posted to our account on time, and therefore a $29 dollar late charged is applied to our account.

GE doesn't offer the option of paying online or even accessing your account online, this is consider very unusal to me consider the advanced technology stage we have moved into. I have tried to pay my bill over the phone but they claim they can only take one payment over the phone within a twelve month time frame (weird).

When my husband and I consider paying them off our account was arround $750.00 now it has exceed to a balance of over $1000. They are always calling my home about a payment, and I tell them it has been mailed and should have already arrived. They are very nasty when they call talking down to me about how I need to make sure my bills are paid on time.

My husband and I attempted to pay them in full, and ask if they give us a discount toward the balance as most credit card companies will give you at least a 15% discount, but they wouldn't even discuss this with me because they stated that my account was up to date. I ask how this was possible since they were always calling me at least every other month, and the man was unable to explain this question to me.

I am long since at my wits end with GE Capital and am unsure what I should do about them, if anyone has an idea, I am all ears.
