Total rip-offs, do not use this company

I have been making double payments for the last year to get this card paid down. About a 5K balance now... Payments were never late but rate steadily went up from 12% to 31.99%!!! HOW CAN this be LEGAL?

They are a TOTAL RIP OFF! I made the payments electronically - noting the due date, scheduling the payments for 3 days before to make sure they weren't late.

THEN THEY CHANGE THE DUE DATES! On my last statement, they charged a $39 late payment fee. After a 15 minute wait for someone in customer service, I got an obviously overseas call center person who was completely useless would not retract the late fee, because it was ONE day late... Yet said she couldn't tell me the due date for the next one!!! I was FURIOUS. Out of a $400 payment, they take over $130 in finance charges. Do NOT do business with this company!!! THEY ARE THE WORST.

I am going to take money out of my 401K and take the penalty to pay off this horrible company. I would fight it but it would hurt my credit to refuse to pay it! I hope someone has the wherewithall to sue them because I would LOVE to testify in a class action lawsuit!
