Complete thiefs and ripoff

As others I ordered the CD off of AOL's home page, what's $1.98. However I never received the CD which was ordered on 02/02/09 nor did the thiefs send me their emaill address or a web site. What I did get was 39 spam emails, think they get money for email addresses, and I received a $69.95 charge to my checking account. Finally the bank found a phone number for this outfit and TERMS AND CONDITIONS is the only reply and that they were NOT giving refunds as I had a 7 day cancellation window. Seems difficult since I had no address. No phone number and no emails. I called AOL and their stance was "SORRY". It is of my opinion that AOL is culpable to the extent that they should have done some checking on this "Alleged Company" prior to allowing them to advertise on AOL's home page. Also I am curious as to how many others this has happened to.

As for my situation, I have had to cancel my Debit card, change my checking account and withdraw all funds associated with the checking account to keep them from stealing more money. AOl did state that they would be happy to escalte this issue, but they did not state I would receive any response from them. If you have been a victim of this Company please send me an email to Jims85gt@aol.com as I intend to take this issue to the State Attorney General. And please Call AOL at 1-800-827-6364 and voice your complaints.
