Payments Never Reduce Balance Because of Late and Over-Limit Fees

We applied for this card over a year ago when one of our Siberians became ill. Our limit was $500 which we never went over.

I paid the bill either on or before the due date, and always paid more then the payment was.

Then, GE Money Bank would wait 3 to 4 days past our due date before they went into our account to get the payments after I paid it on time! And since "They" took that time 3/4 days to pull their money out, even though I paid either before or on the due date they are charging us a late fee that comes to more then the payment I made, in addition to the over the limit fee because the late fee makes the balance go over the limit on top of late fee, the huge finance charge and everything else, I can not get the card paid off.

Again the credit limit was $500, I have paid well over $675.00, and yet the balance now is over $680. Now matter how much I pay or how early I pay, they always wait 3 to 4 days pass the due date to pull it from my checking account, then charging me late fees & every fee in the book to raise my balance and keep me from paying this horrid card off!
