First Universal Lending
Did not live up to their promise

I would not do business with this company. I have been working with them for 4 months now and $800.00 later and have seen no progress. On top of that I talked to a person at my mortgage company and they said that I didn't need to pay anyone to help with a modification I could request one myself. They said that a third party person doesn't help things along any better than if I were to do things myself. I got the run around a lot and my account rep always took forever to call me back even if I said it was urgent. Not only did she take 2 or 3 days to call back, I never ever would get transferred to her. They have an answering service so you can't even sit on hold to wait for the person. It seemed sort of weird to me that you could have an extension for someone but you never use that extension. I urge anyone who reads this not to do business with this company, despite what their website says with all of their client letters. They have to be bogus. I am willing to stand up with anyone else who has gotten ripped off to do something about this company.
