Dont trust telemarketing calls

I got a phone call today saying i was approved for a platinum credit card, with no credit check. I was like wow well my boyfriend was home at the time. The lady i talked to was named Nacole and all i would have to do is get a check and give her my account info. My boyfriend said NO WAY NEVER give that kind of info over the phone. When i asked for her name she started getting rude with me, but she gave it anyway. I learned today you can't trust anyone over the phone, and someone needs to put this company out of business. It is not fair for good people to be ripped off from people like this.
