Couldn't pay off loan

Our last ford never can i be faked again— i purchased a ford f-150 and took the loan out with ford motor credit at 11% that was necessary to get $500.00 reduced off the cost. The loan individual in the dealer explained to simply refinance following a month. Considering my options and having saved some cash i chose to payoff the loan. The initial payment stub arrived and that i called to see what the benefit could be and chose to pay it off using the check by phone choice which will cost one more $5.00. After i called to make the payment about the payoff day i had been told the payment wouldn't post till 24 hours later and that i could be billed for the total amount subsequently i had been told they might not take the check by phone cost since it was over $5,000.00. Nowhere in the payment options that included the payment stub was these details. I delivered the check certified mail bill and so i understand the had the check at 7:00am and today the tell me they didn't have it till 24 hours later. The extra $11.00 isn't likely to break me but i'm going to be dam easilyam going to pay for intrest on anything i tried to cover and was told by honda i couldn't!!!
