Yes, this is completely a scam. I also google'd this company and nothing came up. I knew immediately it was suspicious when "Ben Thomas" or whomever supposedly sent this said the only education required was a H.S. Diploma to process financial transactions-when in fact FINRA requires a securities license at minimum. Below is what I sent to careerbuilder.com:

I received this today and I do hope that you guys take the time to look into it since I consider that there is a reputation to keep.

1. It sounds too good to be true too stupid at the same time (nobody gives money to nobody just because...)

2. It's the first time EVER an employer asks for an active checking acct.

3. When i goggled THOMAS i found this http://usashameboard.com/complaints/thomas-recruitment-c128644.html

Please have whomever is sending these emails to be blocked immediately, this is not a legitimate employer. I have been in the financial industry for almost 10 years and it is illegal for someone with just a High School education and no securities experience to process financial transactions. If someone is trying to represent themselves as a financial entity, FINRA [Federal Industry Regulatory Authority] should be notified and this could be a liability to Careerbuilder.com.
