On October 16 I received a call from Consumer Credit saying I was pre-approved for a credit card with a $2,500 credit limit. All I had to do was approve the card by giving them my account number and I would receive the card within two weeks.
The customer service agent was Nicholas, the company name was Consumer Credit and the phone number was 1-877-828-8884. I was transferred to a so-called operator where I gave up the needed information.
I have made repeated calls to this company and I never get an answer. I have called at least 20 times. It is March 1st and I still have not received a credit card. Obviously, I have been scammed.
