Refuses to pay legitimate claim-and get's away with it

N.Y.C.M. Has been stalling on paying our clain since "2006"they have used every dirty trick in the book including alleging arson where it has been proven by their own investigators "unfounded". My family has suffered severe financial damage from this and as time goes on the worse it gets. We have retained a lawyer but the insurance company lawywer a mr. Cercone from buffallo n. Y continue relentlessly to bury us in redundt paperwork. I have also seeked the assistance of the N.Y. S Insurance Dept. And have again recieved no resolution. Apparently in N.Y. S there is no statue of limitations on the paying of fire loss claims so you can be in dispute for years just stalling and tying up your payment. I have researched this company and found that it does indeed have a long history of denying claims and stalling payment of legitimate claims to STARVE OUT the insurer or to strong arm them into settling for less than they are entitled to. There is no goverment protection for the insurer and unfortunately you do not find out you have a bad insurance company until you need them and then it is to late and you will be like me. No home, no contents, no payment =BANKRUPTCY... So check the better business bureau web site for the people you do business with and see how they rate...
