Cancelled my account. Statement says they owe me $675 in Cash Rewards

American Express is cancelling accounts and lowering credit lines for many people, some for lowered credit scores and some for no apparent reason. I have had my account for five years and built it up to $50k. They had a great cash rewards program so I used it a lot. I had been carrying a large balance, paying on time, never late. The day I paid off the balance they cancelled my account. I understand it is at their discretion to do this, but as they have done every year in the past, at the end of that cycle they were to post my Annual Cash Rewards. My statement clearly states that I had earned $675.71 and for details see cash rebate summary on the statement. This statement is at the end of the purchase summary.

"Important Rebate Message
Remember to pay at least the minimum due, by the payment due date, to avoid cash reward forfeiture.

Earn Cash Back Everywhere
You Use The Card You will receive your annual cash reward one month after your anniversary date. There is no limit on the rebate you can earn. So, you can keep earning cash back - no matter how much you spend on your Card."

They would have posted my rebate on the first day of this cycle, but since they closed my account, they haven't done it. I can't get an answer from anyone at American Express about when or if they are going to give me my rebate. I earned it and they owe it to me.
