Ripoff deception getting a credit card for a fee charged my account twice in one week no card

I was looking to get a credit card to help fix up our credit, and to use to get a rental car on our first trip. USA Platinum was in the credit card section, and sounded great. For a fee, I could get a credit card quickly, and with a great credit limit, and bonus stuff.

I decided to go for it, not knowing it was a scam. They were to take 149.00 out of my account, and i would recieve my new platinum credit card in ten day's. Not only did they not take the 149.00 they said they would they took out 180.00 twice in one week, and i didn't recieve anything for three week's.

What i got was not a credit card, but a card to buy merchandise from there web site, and they were going to charge me 9.00$ a month as a fee for having there card, and all it's benifit's.

Since i had thought we were getting a credit card, and recieved only a fake card, me and my husband do not have a credit card to rent a car on our first trip anywere in the ten years we've been together.

I can't beleive there are people out ther that can do this to other's, and not care. Thanks to Rippoff Report i found out what i could do. I called my bank, and they were very helpful.

It's now in the process of getting my money back, but it still doesn't help with the fact our trip was destroyed by careless people.
