Ripoff eevery month cost more Delray

I started with Express Consolidation in August. Every month since then has cost me more than just money.

My monthly payment has continued to increase and only one of my accounts interest rates went down and even then was only to 11%. My balance when starting the program totaled $7400.00 and upon finally paying off my creditors in February of without the help of Express, my balance had gone up to $8800.00.

Every month I have continued to incur late fees and two of my accounts have been dropped from the program twice because of late payments and returned checks. I made my payments to Express on time and in return expected them to make their payments on time. Did you know that creditors only re-age your account every so often? Depending on the creditor it might be once a year or once every five years. So if the creditor has shown grace and you (or Express) does not fulfill your end of the bargain (making payments on time, etc...) then your account can continue to stay in bad standing.

Upon paying off my creditors, I requested to cancel my agreement with Express and requested the refund of my first payment to them in writing as in the agreement. Not only have they contacted me wanting to know what they could do to help me stay with the program (I can't afford to stay with their program), they do not want to refund me my first payment without my attorney contacting their legal department. The last manager I spoke with said that after having my attorney contact their legal department, their legal department would give them the okay to refund my first payment. Is it worth fighting for? If even for the pricipal of it I think so!
