Loanworkout.org gives terrible service, never returns calls!

I got behind in my mortgage last summer and in trying to find some help, i hit on a website called Loansafe.org. That site puts off a very nice and friendly feel to people who are depspearate about there mortgages. I spent about a month reading everything i could about loan modifications.

My husband and I decided to call and talk with them about our problem. We did a conference call and talked to a realy nice guy named Nathan. He seemed to care and understood what we were trying to do. He said we probably qualified for a modification because se did have income. We said OK, we decided to skip the next payment and pay them $3,995 instead. I sent them TONS of paperwork. Taxes, w-2, pay stubs, bank statements, old loan documents from the broker, There was a lawyer involved in the beginning, but that was the last we heard from them. But actually I don't think the problem was with the lawyer.

Once we paid our money, we didn't hear from them for almost 3 weeks! Nothing! No email, no phone calls, nothing! I called one morning to find out what was happening with our case. Nathan said he was sorry, they were a little behind and he would call me back. Again, no calls, no emails, no nothing for 10 days. Now it was a month into this and NOTHING! We began to regret our decision to use Loansafe or modifyloan or whatever they called themselves

Finally some lady who had a heavy accent called to ask about our loan. There were doing a loan audit to find legal violations. After that, again no contact for a couple of weeks so I called myself again, and this time I find out that Nathan is no longer working there! The lady who answered the phone said someone named Andrew would call me back. I told here that I was tired of getting run around and run around and I needed to talk with someone TODAY!

Guess what? Nothing. I called the next day, the same lady apologized and said she would give Andrew a written note herself. Guess what again? Nothing! Finally I get a call from someone named Steve who worked for Loan Safe Solutions. He seemed genuinely concerned and he promised a call back in 1 hours. Who do you think calls me back? Andrew. Of course he said he would call, but you already know the story

Almost 2 & half months at that point and me and my husband's $4,000 paying there house payments aand not paying ours.

Finally, you know what happened? Indymac sent us a loan modification letter telling us that we were approved under some government program, just call and they can do it over the phone. I called Indymac immediately, talked with a man there and he said that our modification shouldn't be a problem because we fit some profile they had. He emailed us some paperwork to sign, we sent him pay stubs, and bank statements.

Guess what now? About 10 days later, sill nothing from loansafe, Andrew, Steve but we did get a Fed ex from indymac with a loan mod offer in it! It knocked our payment down over $1,100 and put everything we owed in back payments onto the back of the loan. We had to get a notary to sign, but that was it! Done!

I am so sick of loansafe and there lies. I don't ever want to hear from them again. I got a lawyer down here to try to get my money back and I guess we will see what happens next.

Bottom line is if something looks too good to be true, don't bet your last house payment on it!

Loansafe or modifyloan or there people did absolutley nothing for my $4,000.
