Ripoff ripoff business from hell cheated employees and screwed the customers even more

Back on January 30 i went into have my taxes prepared by Jackson Hewitt. After paying over $300.00 in supposed fees, I went home and double checked their figures to my figures on Turbo Tax, that I bought from K-marts.

After entering all the information from my 2 W-2's and a 1099, I found that they nearly cheated me out of 1,500.00 worth of tax return money. I went back to the office from where I had my taxes done the first time to find out whether I had made the mistake or they did. After getting the run around and speaking to the supposed district manager Jesus, they told me I would have to drive 10 miles out of my way so a supposed Senior Tax Prepare could look at the tax return they prepared to the one that I did on Turbo tax.

The ironic thing is that the first time that my taxes were done it too was supposedly by one of their Senior Tax Preparers. After driving the additional 10 miles out of my way, come to find out that they had entered my information incorrectly and it was truly their fault. After having to do an amended tax return and now waiting for the IRS to process the new information, so I can recive the rest of my money when ever that will be no one knows, I as most people would expect to get a discount on my prep fees which were $186.00 for Jackson Hewitt to supposedly doing it right the first time the rest of the fees were from the Bank since I applied for a RAL refund.

The District Manager Jesus would not discount anything even after showing him it was truly their mistake and his people were truly incompetent. I would really think twice before I ever used Jackson Hewitt to prepare anything from a cup of water to Tax return.

I will never use Jackson Hewitt again and will advise anybody that I know or come into contact with not to use them I would rather them use H&R block at least they are competent enough to do it right the first time.
