Closing Terminated my credit card for no reason!

I have been a customer at aspire for over 3 years now, and I have never been late in those 3 years, and have even paid off my balance in its entirely once.

Today (November 28) I received a letter in the mail stating they were terminating my credit card effective December 8, but I am still responsible for my entire balance. This is after they already charged memy annual fee, which should not have happened if they knew they were folding.

I did not call their customer service because I have already had enough problems in the past in dealing with them, but I have also read numerous complaints about customers calling about this same exact problem and getting no results. I agree with everyone on here in that there needs to be a class action lawsuit against this company, because we should they have shady business practices that need to be investigated further. As consumers we should not be responsible for our balance if they are the ones closing, since it is their fault and not the ones who are timely consumers.

As for people curious about class action lawsuits, they are rather easy to start. You have to hire an attorney that deals with civil suits (you want one that is experienced in class action suits). Then you will tell them about your case and that it is nationwide, then they will do the rest. Keep in mind most civil attorneys usually ask for 30-40% of whatever you win.
