I paid 1.98 via credit card to examine a way to make money on ebay

When the cd arrived it did not work, I called the company and informed them and told them I had decided I did not want to do it anyway. I was told that my card would be creditted. I received a call from from an agent a few days later trying to convince me to invest money in the business. He had almost talked me into doing it and then I decided not to when I was transferred to my bank. 5000.00 was just too much for me... I hung up the phone and decided not to talk to him when he called back to try to convince me... On my billing statement on the following mo. I noticed a charge for 49.95 which I did not autherize. I promptly contacted the merchant and she assured me my money would be credited back to my account the next billing cycle. When I received my next statement I noticed that she had creditted for the 49.95 but there were added charges of 49.95 all totalling over 700.00.. I called her back and she said that she could not credit my account but she would send me a check for the amount. I received the check about 10 days later but in the amount of 49.95. This time when I called the number it was no longer in service. I have contacted my cc ebay mastercard company and they have since june been telling that this is an issue between me and the seller. At this time the issue has not been resolved. Yesterday I received another letter from ge money bank stating they are working to resolve this issue but that is the same letter I have gotten from them at least on ten different occasions.
