Forebearance agreement lost after 3 months. Forebearance pymts not applied as agreed

Fell behind on payments due to a death in the family. I contacted the home retention team. I tried to ask for a deferred payment, but was told i did not qualify. Well, after 3 months of trying to make payments, they tried to Foreclose. They came out with ridicuolous fees, foreclosure fees, etc.

I finally called Hope Now. After negotiating with them back & forth, they were telling me I did not qualify for a forebearance agreement. This was American Mortgage. I either had to sell my home or just give it up! Well, I wasn't going to give up that easy. I finally convinced them 4 months later, that I needed that forebearance agreement, they did. But with a catch. They were already trying to foreclose, so I had to agree to their terms and their fees. I had to give them $ 4000.00 down and make 6 payments of $. This was a payment and a half, along with the 2nd mortgage payment, which they had done when I bought the house 3 years ago.

I have yet to see where those payments went to, and I have been harrassed over the phone time and time again trying to collect on the payment. The payments have been made as to the agreement, but they continue to call stating that we are behind again on our payments. We have sent proof of the payments, and sent them the Forebearance agreement, which they state was never done.

Well, after 4 months, they state that I am on time and there is no more agreement. I still had 3 more months to go on my agreement. They said just make the regular payments. WHATEVER happened to the large amount of payments that I gave and where was it applied to. They said not to worry about it, just give the regular monthly payments. I need them to send it in writing but they refuse to.
