Consumer First
Ripped me off of $49.. Consumer rip-off fraud

Business & Finance

I, too, thought this sounded too good to be true. I recieved an acceptance letter from Consumer First for a credit card valued at $5,000 worth of credit line.

I only had to send them $49.00 to pay for the start up of the account. It had been a while, so I decided to try and find a web site that had a contact number where I could check the status - there is no such thing - no contact information anywhere!

I found this web site and to my dismay and horror - I realized I had been taken by this company. The exact same letter I recieved is located in the "ripoff report" section of this website.

Perhaps $49. Doesn't sound like much to you, but to us, trying to relocate before our baby is born - it is alot. We thought that card would help off set some of the costs we were going to incur - instead we are $49.in the hole.

To anyone that hasn't seen the rest of this site, please read on and allow them to show you how to resolve these issues and report rip off scam artists like Consumer First.

The only good in all of this is that we did not pay by check so they can't get to our account funds, we paid by money order - hopefully we can still get that back!!
