Obviously a ploy to activate one of those non-existent credit cards where you activate it and somehow owe them hundreds of dollars. This is the email, WITHOUT the link, so you'll recognize it if you get this email:

Enjoy your PlatinumCard privileges, activate immediately (and then they give you an authorization #—it's part of the same link).
