First bill received 10/30, incl late fees and interest

I registered to get a charge card in July. I never obtained the charge card, and just obtained the very first statement on 10/30/08. The statement involved interest costs and 8 weeks value of late fees. I obtained an awful telephone call today (11/2) - really, my partner talked to some really rude individual. I named the amount about the caller-ID; Dress Barn wasn't among the choices, and so I applied the "other" choice, and was disconnected. I named the 800-number about the statement, and talked to "Mike" to whom I described that I'd not obtained expenses, and he insisted that as my tackle was proper, I'd certainly obtained them. He also explained that I'd to contact customer support to stop my card. He did inform he might, like a courtesy, eliminate one $20 overdue fee easily were to pay for within the telephone (for one more $10 comfort charge), but there is on method I had been likely to provide him my lender info.
