Attempted fraud

On tuesday, October 14, a woman identifying herself as Jennifer Feagles called regarding an old credit card that she said was in collections. She indicated that I could remedy the situation. I had to go to work so I told her I'd call her back the next day.

I was anxious to clear the problem up and called back on my lunch hour and talked with a Jerry Miller. He explained that he needed my bank account routing number as well as my checking account number. It didn't seem right but I went along with it, giving them the routing number the following day.

In a moment of sanity, it occurred to me that I was laying myself open to some very bad stuff.

My advice is: If they call HANG UP!!!
