Bill Me Later late fees piling up for Paper Billing statements never sent out even after calling them

At the beginning of the 2008 year, I purchased a computer from an online company which uses Bill Me Later as a financing option. I agreed to the no payments for 3 months cause that's all I was approved for. I also chose the option to receive paper Billing Statements instead of paying it online. Plus I didn't have my own personal access to the internet.

So the first statement comes out (Jan). Paid a hefty portion of the balance so that way the interest charges won't be so much on the remaining balance later on. I had a budget plan on getting this paid in 6 months.

Then a month (Feb) goes by but didn't receive the next statement. Then the next month (Mar) comes around and again no statement.By the time of the next statement was to come around (Apr), I get a phone call from one the "Reps" from the company telling me that I had an outstanding account. I told her that I wasn't receiving the paper statements which I opted for. She tried to get me to pay over the phone by making me give her my bank account number for a withdrawal. But I never trust anyone that comes up with that. I kept constant telling her no, and I'll never pay that way.By that time, the girl on the other end of the phone started getting hostile and rude. Constantly reminding me that I had an obligation. So I tell her that I wont send a payment until I receive a statement. And guess what... Still no statement.

Since then, I have received NUMEROUS (one almost everyday) phone calls from different reps from that company. Telling me the same thing and me telling THEM the same thing. Then one day in AUG. (7 months later from my last received statement), I get a different phone call from another rep. His approach was a little bit different. It was almost like all of a sudden, they were so "Nice". I told him the same thing about not receiving the paper statements and he "Checked" on it. He told me that it was weird cause it showed that I did opt to receive the paper statements. He didn't know why that was happening. He told me that he can "Help" me with my current situation. He told me "I could break up the amount past due into 3 equal payments but, I would have to pay through bank account withdrawal". So I just laughed and told him that nothing is going to be done until I receive a Simple Paper Billing Statement. So he sends me a letter stating that I'm past due. I was like..."You have got to be kidding me." Since then, I have received the same type of call from at least 4 other reps trying to do the same thing.

And it's not until now Oct (10 months later), that I have received my next Billing Statement from them. With all the late fees and fines all added up, the balance is more than what I have started with. I'm trying to get all my fees taken care of. I will be filing my report with the BBB then with the Attorney General if things don't get resolved.
