Illegal raising of interest rates when never notified of the option of opting out of the card

I guess Im lucky, My rate was raised from 7.99 to just 20.34.% I can just imagine what it is to get upped to 35%. I have left them numerous emails on their web site but do not get any responses. I have told them to cancel my card and lower my rates back to 7.99%. I doubt, after reading, these posts that this will happen. I am going to contact the ag office in florida and ftc, I hope something helps. I owe about 12,000 dollars to this card company and now I pay $200.00 in interest a month. This seems like usury to me. Anyone have any other ideas. Thank, bo
