Fairbanks Capital ripoff the business that shows over 300 victims on this web site

I hope someone in this world still gives great customer service and loan service because when it comes to fairbanks they are the worst that exist. I had a secound mtg which fairbanks took over and ever since it has been mtg. Hell I had to send my payments certified return reciept because they always claimed to recieve the payment late well that solved that problem, then I decide to put my house up for sale and boy the trouble that lay ahead I could not even imangine, when it came time to request a payoff letter they gave me hell it's like they did not want me to pay them off, I request a fax payoff and they mail it 1wk later after a numerous calls, because they claim it takes 4 days to send payoffs to a customer, well I finally recieve it and I stop making payments so the payoff doesn't change, well guess what I start recieving calls that if I don't make that payment they are going to start to forclose on the property, so I didn't want anything to interfere with the sale process so I send them the payment.

Now here is the good part on there payoff letter they state to call 24hrs before closing to verify payoff amount, so we call the day before closing to verify knowing that the amount has now changed due to a payment they recently recieved and they inform us that we need to wait 4 days to recieve a new payoff letter now you see our closing is the next day who wants to wait 4 extra days for a new payoff, when we refer to the statement on the letter stating to call 24hrs prior to closing they claim they cannot give verification over the phone we need to wait 4 days, now mind you every mtg. Company we have dealt with will give us verification over the phone the sameday of closing or by fax.

I just think they want to extend everything to rip you off the longer it takes the more interest they receive. I have keep my record very organized so I know what's going on at all times we are just happy to get rid of them and hoping that in the process they don't rip us off anymore.
