Fraudulently seeking payment on a loan that was never made by my daughter through victimizing and threatening phone calls.internet

My 19 year old daughter - full time student - received a vicious phone call from a lawfirm (collection agency) accusing my daughter of being a felon and will be going to jail if she doesn't pay a $1500 loan. My daughter has no credit cards, no car payment, and goes to school on grants, and has lived with me until this fall. She has never taken out a short-term loan, let alone a pay-day loan from this company. They yelled at her on the phone, they had her drivers license, ssn, and the address they provided her was one that we lived in over a year-ago.

My daughter was told that she had to be in court the next day, and that she was going to to to jail if she didn't start making payments immediatly. As you can imagine, she was beside herself and completely caught-off gaurd. An inidividual who is very responsible, honest, community oriented in her volunteer work, and paying her way through school was very upset that complete strangers were making these accusations and the possibility that someone might be using her identity was frightening.

She made a police report, the police heard the phone message and felt it to be a SCAM, and she contacted the bank to have addtional protections put on her account and she contacted the College student attorney. While in his office the collection agency called again and this time the attorney tried to speak to a supervisor who refused to answser any of his questions.

I don't know anything about this SONIC PAY, but now my daughter is going to have to jump through hoops to protect her identity from this company. This company is a complete SCAM!!! Stay away from them, if enough people read this hopefully they can be put out of business... Someone needs to investigate this operation and SHUT THEM DOWN! They are the criminals.
