Triad Financial Corporation - Road Loans Added $900.00 to our account without notification, offered to settle-out @ 20% discount because they didn't want to be audited. Delaying title still waiting

After we elected to keep the vehicle in a bankruptcy, Triad refused to re-affirm the loan. They put our account in the Legal Dept. & said we would no longer receive a statement. So I had to make my own & had to send for regular itemized history reports for credit references. As they issued a report to the credit report agencies about the bankruptcy but didn't make reference to our continued payments/history.

When it came down to the last few months we saw a financial advisor who told us that we owed more. It turned out to be approximately $900.00 more. When I called to find out why they stated that it was additional interest & she wasn't sure how it accumulated. I asked for a complete history report of our account it turned out to be "1 DAY" late payments. I had always taken pride in making my payments before they were due and can only remember one time that I knew the payment would be late because I was in the hospital and it was mailed late.

After several conversations I said I was not willing to pay unless they could show all 900 dollars worth of extra charges. I in fact told her that I wanted an audit of my account. She put me on hold and came back to offer a settlement. She said if I waited till the end of the agreed payoff month that they would most likely settle out without owing the additional. When I called back at 3 months left she denied have told me that.

On the last payment she said they would settle for -20% of the $1400.00 we still owed. Big deal!

Now she says that the account will show as "Settled in Full". But we can not get them to send a reciept, contract paid statement or anything proving that we have an agreement. My account still shows a payment due and a balance.

She said it would take 3 days to process & 10 days to recieve the title in the mail & to call back if we do not receive it in 10 days. When I called on the 10th day she denied having said that. She said that she said it would be on hold for 10 days and if I hadn't called it would probable still be on hold. It has been 4 days since she said it was mailed, still no title!
