Through Landmark Merchants

I got stuck with this company when I got a merchant account through Landmark Merchants. After 2 years, I fired Landmark Merchants because of shoddy practices and poor ethics.

I kept having money come out of my bank account for equipment rental. I had to close my bank account to stop the stealing because when I called the Lease Finance Group no one answered the telephone. Ever.
Once they couldn't steal money from me anymore, they finally started to call me.

"Unbreakable lease..." "Give us a new bank account number..." "... Or else".
I hung up on them.

I returned the equipment to Landmark Merchants. They signed for it, so I consider it to be their problem now.
Eventually, they will send it to collections or try to sue me. I am waiting to see if anyone starts a class action law suit against this company for unethical business practices and terroristic (remember the "or else") threatening.

I no longer pick up the telephone when they call - (caller ID is great), and dismiss the letters they send.
I am going to send off one more letter. One that has a confirmation that Landmark has accepted the terminal, and in my opinion, it makes them responsible for dealing with this company.
