SERVICE AND PRACTICES mistreated and ripped off

We are a normal American family trying to get by in a time of excessive financial hardships due to the loss of employment thanks to big business issues in this nation.

Like so many of our fellow countrymen, we have plenty of issues in our daily lives to harrass us without people like the GE Capital Cardco making things more difficult.

We have had the same issue with them as many other people about getting payments made promptly in a time when keeping near perfect credit is imperative. You simply cannot resolve anything with these people on the phone which lucky for them, (with the exception of mail) is about the best form of contact you can achieve.

I couldn't even have them help me to locate places to use their card. The card we have is in my husbands name and all I called to ask them about was, on that particular occasion, who in my town would accept the card (via a list they have) to buy some tires during a bad situation. I was asking absolutely NO personal information about my husbands account, simply where we could go to use the card for a purchase. They flatly refused to give me any names whatsoever. VERY POOR SERVICE! They don't want their card used very bad do they?

We finally had to call about every place in town and ask them if they took the card or not. Boy did we feel silly. Half have never even heard of the company. Lucky them.

We had a $0 balance on the card at the time and had no prior issues at that point for them to have wanted to avoid our business but after that they only got worse from there.

Please warn all good folks about these rip off artists and tell them DO NOT apply for their credit
