Midfirst Bank
Scam Artist Bank charging unwarranted overdraft fees to accounts that werent negative and refuse to remove them

Business & Finance

I have had several issues with Midfirst Bank charging overdraft fees to my account when it was not negative. They are charging overdraft fees on accounts when debits have yet to hit the account even after deposits have been made to cover any outstanding debits that have yet to hit the account. This is wrong.

My wife and i have been fighting with Midfirst Bank for a year over unwarranted and in my opinion illegal overdraft fees to our account. Please be aware of how this bank chooses to do business. When you call in to speak with customer service you are given a list of excuses as to why they are unable to help and advise to call your local branch (the branch where your account was originally opened) even if it is no longer your local branch. I was advised by an asst. Manager at an Edmond location that "the reason this is done is b/c each branch has a "price center" and that everyone will try to pass the buck so it doesnt affect their branch." Afterwards, he even tried to pass the buck.

I will be attempting once again to argue with the bank about this scandalous and criminalistic activity once again. I will more than likely close my account. After a year of dealing with this, I am done.
