WM-Center
WM-Center Stole 95% of my Funds!

Business & Finance

I am warning anyone who has intentions to exchange money using wm-center to think twice. On August 13, I attempted to exchange $111 e-gold to Altergold but didn't include the Altergold info in the memo box. I sent an email and but did not get any response, following which I added their hotmail IM to my IM.

After explaining my problem to whoever, I was told to send another request for 0.01 cent, this time including the details in the memo box. I did so and was told that I would receive the exchange in five minutes. To my surprise, I was only credited with $6! When I inquired how this could be, I was bluntly told that their fee is 95% of my funds!!!

Their website clearly states, "Exchange e-currency. Our company exchanges one e-currency for another.

Our minimal exchange fee is $5, except exchanging to Paypal and Epassporte systems which is $10.

Attencion!!! All exchange transfers should be sent without any protection code and must have the following memo: "exchange to XXXX acc. YYYY", where XXXX is the payment system where you want to transfer your money and YYYY is the number of your account. If there is no memo, and you did not discussed that with us before sending, your funds will be returned to you after deduction of 10% of the amount of money we received."

Nothing in the above speaks to 95% fee! They than had the nerve to tell me to send them $6.25 before they redeposit $100 to my e-gold account. Now that spells SCAMMMMM in my books.

I would like to discourage anyone who are intent on using the services of these guys to run to the hills.
