I had signed up for what I thought was only a $1.95 charge, called the phone number because I hadn't received the email to get started. When I called the person told me to wait an hour because comcast took a bit longer. (???)

In the meantime, I saw the terms (yes, I should have looked before, but original $1.95 to get started put dollar signs in my eyes, besides, in my experience, when there is a hidden charge, there is an asterik beside the fee listed) and realized that there were continuous charges totaling $169.70 over the next month. I clicked the "unsubscribe" and kind of forgot about it. That is until I had $39.85 taken out of my checking account two weeks later.

When I called to get my money back, the person told me it didn't matter that I had unsubscribed, that the link was only for receiving emails and future promotions. I told him it was very misleading. He went on to be sarcastic, saying that I didn't read everything correctly. I told him I thought that was how they made their money.

I was okay with forfieting the $1.95, but at the time the $39.85 was taken out, that left me and my husband with $23.00 for the week when we thought we were going to be okay until payday with approx. $60.00. I told him this, also that I have just found out I am pregnant (yea!) and my husband is scheduled for surgery on Aug. 27th, and we are unable to afford this right now. It didn't matter to him.

I think this company is a rip off, and I hope they at least get shut down so other people in my situation don't get these misleading charges.
