Texas Check Processors
Is a fraud, scam, do not pay them without doing some serious research!

Business & Finance

My husband was contacted by mail and said if he didn't pay, a warrant would be issued. When I called the number on the letter I always got the same man, a "Mr. Hale" (pronounced Hailey) and he was even on the company voicemail which makes me think this is one man running a scam.

Mr. Hale said my husband had a bank account in 2003 and 3 hot checks were written totaling almost $500. If we did not pay this amount there would be a warrant issued today at 2:00 P.M. I then called the bank and (not to my surprise) they denied hiring such company and let me know that account was closed in good standing and had not had a bad check. When I called Mr. Hale and let him know I wanted copies of these so-called hot checks he could not provide them. (Under the Fair Credit Act, he is required to.) Also, he NEVER asked any kind of soc. Sec. # or anything verifying my identity, nor did he ask why my husband could not call him.

Once I let him know I worked for an attorney and his phone call was being recorded, he abruptly said "have a nice day" and hung up on me. A few minutes later, I received a phone call from him (which I told him not to call me since I found out he had caller id) saying his supervisor said they would drop all charges and no further action would be taken.

DO NOT WHIP OUT YOUR MONEY TO PAY THIS BUSINESS!!! Do your research. He is listed on the Better Business Bureau website and he has quite a few claims against him (for what, I do not know) I do not know what the case is with this business, nor do I want to know. Again&do not pay this man until you do your research
